I am amazed that the vendor posts a picture of a kitten next to this bowl. Kittens could be the photo definition of a tornado as they zoom across rooms, under furniture, over the tops of refrigerators and around the globe in seconds. And any idea of linking a hyperactive kitten to this elevated ceramic thing masquerading as a cat food bowl is silly.This bowl, to be 100% fair, is nicely made. The vendor did an amazing job with the packaging; really tight and well padded. The ceramic is not horribly cheap, the base is heavy and has a 'non-slip' ring on the bottom but unfortunately that is all the good I can say about this with the intended purpose of being a cat food bowl.If I were to say, "this works great as a place to put my rings while I do the dishes" that would be a true statement. If I were to say, "this makes a cute soap dish in my bathroom" that would be a true statement. If I were to say " This is a cute elevated change dish for the checkout at the local store", this would be a true statement. The color is cute, the ceramic design is pleasing and I like the item for that use. But, for cats as a bowl this fails. If I had a corner I could put it into the cats would still find a way to knock it over.*I used an egg carton and a standard soda can for size reference.Lovely ceramic dish with a cute design on top, but not great as a cat food bowl.
This is such a cute elevated cat food bowl, and honestly really nice quality. It's ceramic and has a decent weight to it. There's a rubber strip on the bottom to keep it still while my cat is eating. It's for my orange cat so I love that it's orange with an orange cat on the inside. My cat seems to like it. He immediately ate his food out of it. The product listing says dishwasher safe so I put it in the dishwasher before feeding him and had no issues.
This dish is absolutely adorable! I didn’t have a banana handy for scale, but a soda can did the trick. The height is just right for my senior cat, with a non-slip ring on the bottom that keeps it firmly in place. The rim is tall enough to prevent food from being pushed out, which is a big plus. The quality feels solid, the price is right, and it’s seriously cute. Hard to go wrong with this one.

Confession: I got this for my tiny dog and not a cat. This is a very hefty ceramic bowl with a nice non-slip base. My pup was able to eat from it and not move it all over the floor like her other dishes. I was also hoping this might slow down her eating, since she tries to gulp it all down. For right now that seems to be working well. This cat bowl is super easy to clean up and is very cute (and my pup doesn't mind the cat picture on it, either!)
